Revision colors Link to Revision colors#
Set the revision color in Script settings: white, blue, pink, yellow, green, goldenrod, buff, salmon, or cherry. The color shows on the dashboard card, editor title bar, and Production report.

Select Script → Issue revision. Screencake saves a named version, such as "Blue revision", and marks later changes with margin asterisks. Issuing the next revision resets those marks.
Revised pages only Link to Revised pages only#
First, issue a revision. Then, in File → Export → PDF…, enable Revised pages only. The PDF includes changed pages with their existing numbers and the title page, if present. If there are no changes, the dialog shows a message.
Locking pages Link to Locking pages#
Lock pages keeps existing page starts and numbers. Added text uses inserted pages such as 104A and 104B. Subsequent pages keep their numbers.
The Locked pages label beside the title shows that the lock is active. Large edits or imports can make inserted pages almost empty.
Example: added text on a locked page Link to Example: added text on a locked page#
In this example, page 104 is locked and you add text to its scene. Without the lock, added text could change subsequent page starts and page references.
- Page 104 keeps its number and first line.
- Additional text goes to 104A, then 104B if more space is needed.
- Page 105 keeps its existing start.
- Revised pages only exports pages carrying change marks, so the crew can replace those sheets.
Unlocking Link to Unlocking#
Unlock returns to continuous page numbering without changes to the text. Inserted-page content moves into standard pages. Revision asterisks stay because they identify revisions. To keep the new page numbers, lock pages again.
You cannot switch between Letter and A4 while pages are locked. Those numbers depend on the current page geometry.
Limits Link to Limits#
Revisions and locked pages are available with Production for synced scripts. If the desktop app starts offline, connect once before exporting revision marks or revised pages. Without that connection, PDFs omit the marks and revised-page export is unavailable.
